Financial aid

Students receiving financial aid towards the cost of the ASE Programme MUST provide notification in writing from their college’s financial office guaranteeing the allocation of their aid, together with an indication of when and from whom these fees can be expected.

Without this notification, ASE cannot guarantee to hold a place for a student on financial aid.

Refunds policy

Summer 2024

  • Any student withdrawing in writing by the fee payment deadline of April 1 will receive a refund of fees already paid, minus deposit.

  • Any student withdrawing in writing after the fee payment deadline of April 1 may appeal for a refund of fees minus non-recoverable expenses and deposit. All appeals will be considered by the ASE Dean and Director, in concert with Programme leadership at Franklin & Marshall College.

  • Only for well-documented, serious emergencies or medical problems will ASE consider a modification of the policies described above. All appeals will be decided by the Programme Director.

  • In the unlikely event of Programme cancellation by ASE, or withdrawal of support for Summer study by the student’s home institution, participants will be offered the option either of joining a future ASE Summer School, or of receiving a full refund, including deposit and any fees already paid.

“I got to take classes I never would on my own college campus, made wonderful lifelong friends, and ultimately found a new place to call home.”
